Danny Marvin is the author of American Vengeance and Dirty Mary. Danny graduated from East Stroudsburg University and received a Bachelor’s of Science Education Degree. Danny taught history and writer’s workshop for thirty years at Pocono Mountain High School located in Pennsylvania. Danny researched technological advancements in humanoids and drones when writing American Vengeance and created a fictitious underground base that terrorists would use to annihilate the United States’ electrical grids resulting in a blind and helpless America. He furthered technological advancements in humanoids, drones, and the F-15X Super Eagle so a counterterrorism team could destroy the underground mine and restore the United States. Danny worked with the talented Barb Taylor when writing Challenge the Day that he later reworked into American Vengeance. Barb Taylor is famous for her masterpiece, “Sing in the Morning, Cry at Night.” Danny wrote Dirty Mary. This story of a girl with dissociative identity disorder resulted from true events that he had witnessed with his son. Tragically, the pain and the suffering of his son from the girl’s mental illness resulted in the suicide of his first-born son, and that is why Danny wrote the story. Danny, when visiting the grave, vowed to write this compelling story. If this paperback becomes popular, Danny would like to contribute to suicide awareness. Danny is an avid weight lifter and is married to Colleen, his wife, for thirty-six years. He has five children and two grandchildren he takes pride in. Danny contributes the paperback books publicity to his neighbor Jacob Shoesmith, a creative and talented web designer and artistic director of Theatrical Jems. Short description -- A once-trusted United States general seeks revenge, placing a deadly U.S. jet in the hands of Venezuelan rebels who fortified a silver mine. Planning a three-step attack—shutting down electrical grids, using strategic bombing points, and releasing a drone squadron with a virus—the rebels imprison American hostages in the mine. A counterterrorism team and a reluctant autistic savant with an untested humanoid are the only hope for rescuing the hostages and stopping the attack. Long description – A team of counterterrorism agents has a strategically-planned mission, called Operation American Vengeance, to investigate a Guardian uplink that can hinder the satellites needed to transfer information to the United States. Operation American Vengeance is mysteriously canceled by the head of Homeland Security, General Kane. Once the Guardian dish is activated, it will make the United States vulnerable to attack. The Guardian test signal was sent from somewhere in a Venezuelan jungle, near an active silver mine. To add to the mystery, General Kane attempted to secretly ship a newly designed tactical fighter jet to Eglin Air Force Base in Florida so as not to be detected by the rest of the world. And now, by arrangement with General Kane, the deadliest jet, named the Talon, is in the rebels' hands. The planned attack of the Talon on the United States, when it is vulnerable (because the satellites will be shut down), will also involve a deadly virus carried by drones to spread throughout the contiguous United States. Preston Willcott, the Air Force Technology Advisor who is an autistic savant, used his brilliance to create weapons for the United States, including the Talon. He is not fooled by the Guardian uplink test and requests that General Kane authorize Operation American Vengeance at once. General Kane completes his death wish against America and places some of the counterterrorism team's own family members on a bogus trip with other Americans. He then hijacks their jet and imprisons the hostages in the silver mine to stop the counterterrorism team's attack. The United States team includes twin brothers Odin and Goran Ericson, counterterrorism agents; Ki Sahito, a virologist; Alice Croft, head of the CIA's technology department; Bo Hollinger, an ace pilot, Vietnam veteran; Gabe Adams, once a SEAL and now a SWAT; and Preston Willcott, who is helping reluctantly. For four years, Preston has been working on Prometheus, a humanoid possessing artificial intelligence, who has been connected to the internet and virtual flights for over 35,000 hours. Prometheus is a humanoid clone of Preston, having the same build and matching face and hair. Prometheus is the supreme trickster; it can see, hear, feel, taste, and smell, and has extrasensory perception, just like humans. It will monitor the airwaves for offensive weaponry, then release an electromagnetic pulse to destroy the rebels' electronics. Prometheus can remotely fly a Hermes drone that can operate at 500 mph, and whose Deathray lasers, another of the ingenious Preston's inventions, can cut a full-size fighter jet in half. The team, including the reluctant Preston and Prometheus, face off against an army of rebels and a deadly K-9 force. They will have to cross an electrified bridge, penetrate the silver mine and all of the weapons defending it, and save the hostages tied to the Talon; they also have to destroy or remove the jet from the rebels' hands. Greatly outnumbered, they have to use stealth and the brilliant mind of Preston, who has learned world topography and is able to locate every square mile of earth's coordinates. Plus, the team will have to rely on the incredible artificial intelligence of the untested Prometheus humanoid, which without, they could not be successful at capturing the Talon, saving the hostages, and protecting the United States from the deadly virus. I hope you have a chance to read this action/adventure. I spent many years to research artificial intelligence and futuristic jets and included this research in this story!
