Elizabeth Donley-Leer is a Texas born, California raised grandmother, who spent thirty-years living in Colorado raising her children before moving to the east coast living back and forth between Georgia and Alabama in her RV with her two giant breed puppies. Writing has been a lifelong passion of Elizabeth's. Besides being a former freelance Children's Book Primary Editor her prior writing experiences include online articles for companies such as Go Daddy.com, professional blogging, SEO Ad work, Web-Content, catalog descriptions, and travel destination descriptions for online travel guide sites, and most recently coming in second in the prestigious When Words Count Pitch Week competition with her novel The Town that Time Forgot. Elizabeth earned a degree in writing, editing, and publishing for children and young adults from the Institute of Children's Literature. Additionally, she has written and self-published two children's books (The Fish Who Wanted to Fly, and Passing Ships Are Not Always Quiet), been a reviewer for the 2012 Denver Film Festival, and is a published poet. Retired, she continues to pursue her passion for writing from her cozy country home in Munford, Alabama.
