The founder and CEO of the Institute for Zen Leadership (https://zenleader.global), for more than 25 years, Dr. Ginny Whitelaw has brought the mind and body together in developing leaders worldwide. She is also the co-developer of FEBI®, which measures 4 energy patterns in the nervous system connected to personality. The author of 4 books, including Resonate (2020), she is a regular contributor to Forbes.com in the area of Zen leadership and leadership that resonates. A childhood dream to be an astronaut, supercharged by NASA's advice to her at the age of 13, led her into science, including 3 years in a high energy physics lab, a doctorate in biophysics, and a lifelong interest in energy and the human body. She combined this with intense physical training, first in martial arts, then in Zen, which led to a 5th degree black belt in Aikido and her becoming a Zen priest and roshi (master) in Rinzai Zen. She also found her way to NASA, where she honed her interest in leadership serving as the manager for integration of the Space Station Program, for which she received NASA's Exceptional Service Medal. She left NASA in the mid-90's to co-found Focus Leadership.
