Author of Workouts for Seniors: A Beginner’s Guide to a Home Strength Training, Harry Sloan is a loving husband and father to two amazing sons. Having a qualified Physical Therapist for a son along with many years as a researcher on the subject has allowed Harry to help others through practical exercises and effective workouts, he discovered to help control his illness. His passion stems from the unexpected shock of being diagnosed as a diabetic 15 years ago, where he realized he needed to take control of the situation if he wanted to continue living a full and happy life with his illness. The determination to continue living with the quality of life he had at the time of diagnosis led to Harry spending the next 15 years of his life researching and finding the best and most practical exercises to not only manage his disease but to live independently as well. Finding success in his discoveries spurred Harry to share his passion with others, knowing that if it worked for him, then others could benefit from it, too. The decision to change his eating and exercise habits was the first step in his journey of discovery. One that led to a different, more active life that defied the odds of aging.
