Hemmie Martin spent most of her professional life as a Community Nurse for people with learning disabilities and a Family Planning Nurse in London, and a Forensic Mental Health Nurse working with young offenders in Hertfordshire. She spent six years living in the south of France and now lives on the Norfolk border, where she writes full-time and is owned by a rescue cat.
