Hey there. I'm Jack Simmonds, an author and comedian (a stretch, but let's go with it). I write books - you might have heard of the "Avis Blackthorn" series? No. Oh, well. My latest stumble into storytelling is the "Felix Freeman" series. I'm currently editing them, which is a fancy way of saying I'm finally making them readable now that my bank account allows it. How would I describe the Wizard, Felix Freeman? Picture this: a wizard, but not your cookie-cutter, cape-flapping hero. More like Harry Potter hit his thirties, got a bit edgy, and forgot to take his ADHD meds. Felix is the kind of guy who trips over his own spells and makes saving the world look like an accident. He's as far from your textbook spell-slinger as you can get, and that's exactly what makes him brilliant. In Felix's world, the real magic isn't in perfect spells – it's in the chaos, the blunders, and the 'oh-crap' moments that keep you guessing. In my spare time, I’m writing a sitcom for TV, and I do YouTube because I’m obsessed with people knowing who I am. Between questionable jokes and battling the ever-terrifying blank page, I'm just a chap with a penchant for caffeine and a knack for turning typos into tales.
