Jak Koke is best known for his bestselling Dragon Heart Saga trilogy – Stranger Souls, Clockwork Asylum, and Beyond the Pale. Jak has also written two other Shadowrun novels, a Forgotten Realms novel (The Edge of Chaos), and an Earthdawn novel (Liferock). In 2005, Jak took a hiatus from fiction writing to establish an award-winning small press as well as pursue several other careers (molecular biologist, content strategist, and keynote speech writer). Over the years, Jak has lived all across the United States, Canada, and France, but recently he finds himself in central Mexico, once again writing science fiction, fantasy, and thrillers.
