Healing is possible at any age. While symptoms can be similar to all people affected, recovery work changes, depending on the maturation level of the individual. All clients draw on their powerful life experiences and need their depth of experience to be acknowledged and channeled into recovery work. Living with PTSD, anxiety and/or an eating disorder involves the mind, brain and body. Often emotions that are unbearable move through the body and are experienced as physical sensations. Recovery work with Joanna respects those different aspects of experience and addresses each. The goal is to understand, integrate and balance the inner workings of the individual for healing, minimization of symptoms.
