I am the author of "Accounting for Derivatives" and "Handbook of Corporate Equity Derivatives and Equity Capital Markets". Although I am Spanish national I have spent most of my professional life in London for several banks. Finally, I have been able to move to the accounting world. My main hobby is accounting for financial instruments. For most people it is a boring subject, but I find it exciting because it is a good exercise for the mind, especially researching about new accounting topics. My other hobby used to be sports -jogging and tennis-, but a continuous string of injuries is preventing me from doing much. However, I keep dreaming aboutbeing able to resume them. I strongly suggest people to write on a subject of personal interest. It is one of the best ways to learn about the subject. Although it's very time consuming, it's very satisfying when a reader congratulates you for the book.
