Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, I spent most of my growing up years in Texas. With 4 sisters and 1 brother, the house was always full of activity. I loved having so many siblings and the crazy fun when the family was all together. My parents were excellent in instilling good principles and strong work ethics. Like any family, there were challenges and trials, but the love of family remained strong. When asked "what do you wanted to be when you grow up?" I would say "I want to be a mom." In college, my husband swept off my feet, we were married after a short engagment - you could say it was love at first sight. My husband and I have 4 children, 3 wonderful boys and one sweet girl. This essentially is "my story” as I found the depth of my value as a mom. With my children grown now, my husband and I now live in the Portland, Oregon area.
