Kelsey A. Fuller-Shafer completed her Ph.D. in ethnomusicology at the University of Colorado Boulder. She has broad teaching experience that includes courses in music, language, literature, folklore, and Nordic history at the University of Colorado Boulder and Augustana College. Kelsey has guest lectured at several universities and presented research at numerous conferences and symposia in both the United States and Sweden on subjects ranging from Swedish jazz to Sami pop, and from Norse myth to Eurovision. She has also worked as a library and archives assistant in the Swenson Swedish Immigration Research Center. Kelsey is currently the Access Services Supervisor at the DiMenna-Nyselius Library at Fairfield University. Calling various parts of New England home, Kelsey is originally from Connecticut and earned her B.A. in music from Eastern Connecticut State University.
