Kevin Griffin is the author of the groundbreaking 2004 book, "One Breath at a Time: Buddhism and the Twelve Steps," which introduced the recovery world to meditation and Buddhism. His other books include "Buddhsim & The Twelve Steps Workbook," "A Burning Desire: Dharma God and the Path of Recovery," "Recovering Joy: A Mindful Life after Addiction", "Living Kindness: Buddhist Teachings for a Troubled World," and "Buddhism & the Twelve Steps Daily Reflections: Thoughts on Dharma and Recovery." A longtime Buddhist practitioner and 12 Step participant, Kevin is a leader in the mindful recovery movement and one of the founders of the Buddhist Recovery Network. Kevin teaches nationally in Buddhist centers, treatment centers, professional conferences, and academic settings. He has been in recovery since 1985 and teaching meditation since 1996. He now divides his time between writing, teaching, and family time with his wife and daughter. He is a musician and released the world music CD "Laughing Buddha" in 2013.
