She grew up on ESPN and tuned into every Chicago Bulls game. She was a curious young girl, fueled by her obsession to dig below the surface level and truly discover what was inside. It was her curiosity that led her to where she is today; the founder and creator of a hair and beauty enterprise with an estimated valuation nearing 100M. She has been awarded 3 United States Patents for her advancements to the hair extension industry and has made revolutionary changes in the way hairstylists are virtually educated. In 2021, she founded Goldie Locks®, a company committed to creating and distributing the highest quality hair care products and supplements direct-to-consumer and professional hair stylists worldwide . McKenzie is incredibly grateful to lead a community of professional stylists across the globe, and continues to be fueled by the fire of entrepreneurship to stay at the forefront of innovation. McKenzie’s dedication to education is truly inspiring. She is a trailblazer in the industry, paving the way for stylists to achieve total success behind the chair. She has been married for 22 years and is the mother of four children. She feels very lucky enough to have embraced the entrepreneur life as she simultaneously raised her kids. She credits her ability to multi-task and juggle her founder responsibilities to her children, who had her practicing those skills for almost a decade before she jumped into the fast-paced world of building a global empire.
