Like Edgar Rice Burroughs, Dr. Michael Sanford was born in south Chicago. During high school, he moved to Kentucky and then completed his education at Vanderbilt University and the University of Kentucky School of Dentistry. While practicing for 40 years in the Bluegrass state, Michael and his beautiful wife, Sharon, enjoyed raising their children, Darek and Devon. Now retired, they spend time in Kentucky and Florida, where he enjoys reading, playing the piano, gardening, art projects, and finally writing this first novel.
