Police Sergeant (Ret.) Michael W. Streed is an award-winning, internationally recognized and highly sought-after police sketch artist based in the Los Angeles Metropolitan area. For over 40 years, he’s combined his extensive law enforcement experience and artistic skills to help investigators solve their toughest cases. During his career, Michael has pointed his pencil towards society’s worst criminals, helping investigators identify serial killers, murderers, rapists, violent predators who have robbed, shot, or stabbed innocent victims, including those who have murdered law enforcement officers. Michael’ s long and distinguished career as an award-winning police artist began concurrent to his law enforcement career. The experience he gained during his police career helped him to develop specialized interview and communications skills that not only helped him connect with crime victims, but they also form the basis for a series of compelling true crime stories that he writes about.
