Miranda Murdock is an advocate for overcoming, a passion fueled from her own experience with sexual abuse, being bullied, and divorce. She put herself through college and graduated from Missouri Southern State University with a bachelor of science in nursing. She has a love for writing, healing people, and finding faith through it all. She’s written multiple public speeches and poems and created short video productions for changing the statistics of sexual abuse. Miranda is the creator and race director for a nonprofit event called Breaking the Silence of Sexual Abuse 5K 10K for which was nominated as a Woman of Distinction in a local magazine in 2021. She speaks on sexual abuse awareness for news stations, child advocacy centers, fundraisers, and church groups. Miranda is a wife and mother to a blended family of four children.
