Nathaniel M Wrey is an author specialising in fast-paced adventures, exploring the nuances of human interaction and the fragility of societies. His debut novel, Liberty Bound, an allegorical dystopian-set adventure, achieved critical acclaim, winning a Readers' Favorite International Book Award, a finalist placing in the 2020 Wishing Shelf Book Awards and he was a longlisted author in the Millennium Book Awards 2021. While its sequel, Where Liberty Lies (published in 2023), is a multi-award winning follow-up, receiving a gold in the North American Book Awards, an International Firebird Book Award, a Literary Titan Gold Badge Award, a Global Book Award, a BookFest Award, a Distinguished Favourite Award in the New York Big Book Awards, a longlisted author award in the Book Viral Millennium Awards and honourable mentions in the New York Book Festival Awards and Royal Dragonfly Book Awards. He has also written two wartime novellas, Triumphant Where it Dares Defy and A Place More Dark, following the adventures of British POW Jock Mitchell. In 2022, he published a children's book, Mooge: The Prehistoric Genius, under the name Nate Wrey. Nathaniel studied history at Reading University and works as a Civil Servant in central government in the United Kingdom.
