Nick McGinley is an Irish writer. His black comedy thriller 'The Casting Director' is out now as an e-book and audiobook on Amazon, Audible and i-Tunes. His story 'The Disappearing Actor' is published in the January 2017 issue of Drunk Monkeys. His short story 'Hammertime' was published in the autumn 2015 issue of Stand Magazine - Vol. 13 (3). His festive comedy story 'Christmas Action Movie' is available on Kindle. In 2009, his bestselling political comedy book '100 Reasons to Vote Yes to Lisbon II' (a commission for Trashface Books) reached number 8 in the Irish Hodges Figgis chart. In 2008, he wrote and performed in the award-winning comedy double act 'Hoarse Throat Soothers' with Shane O'Neill. Nick works as a casting director on Irish features (Kisses, Dollhouse, Life's a Breeze, Love Eternal) and did the Irish casting for UK/US productions (The Virtues, War Horse, '71, The Guard). He is currently writing his second novel.
