Robin Traywick Williams has more energy and more fun than anybody you know. This compelling look at life during wartime tells the story of the author’s parents’ exotic global courtship, a story filled with emotion and adventure, featuring burning airplanes, runaway horses, the pain of separation and the eternal question: “Will he come home?” As research for "The Last Romantic War," Williams and her brother spent two weeks in India and the Middle East, a trip the author recalls in "Butch and Sundance Do India: A madcap search for our father’s WWII footsteps from Delhi to Burma." This humorous travelogue is beautifully illustrated. Robin Traywick Williams is an award-winning author, journalist, storyteller and horsewoman. She makes frequent appearances as a speaker at venues large and small. She holds an M.A. from the creative writing program at Hollins University, spent five years as a feature writer for the Richmond Times-Dispatch, and served six terms as chairman of the Virginia Racing Commission.
