Roy Burgess was once an IT manager. This involved sitting in a cubicle and making stuff up. Having retired from this high octane lifestyle, he now sits in his home office and makes stuff up. We’ll wait… The working title for the next book is The Fifth Door, and if he can concentrate for more than ten minutes at a time, it will launch in the summer of 2024. Roy is also working on a new series in a different genre. The Price We Pay is a police procedural, introducing DI Carrie Tyler. We’ll announce more about that in the coming weeks. West Yorkshire born and bred, Roy spends a lot of time staring out of the window at the Leeds-Liverpool canal. Music is a constant companion to his writing.
