Art by the Founder of Transcendia, was shown last at the Carrboro Century Century Gallery through 2/15. There was another Opening Friday 2/13/2015. I had another show at This and That Gallery September of 2016. I will not be showing Again till there is some real selling to be happening.
Transcendia is the youtube channel (I) Mr. Day uses to post, serious, or prosaic TV clips. I do a daily show, The Intendor Tm Radio Show. Speeches at the Openings for the Art shows were filmed and posted. In October, September? of 2015 I announced my intention to run for US Senate. I got no support. I have continued the show and recommend you write in Transcendian when voting in ignorance, or opposition to all candidates. Writing that in will advance the Party. You can write in my name.
There are also clips of the author Bruce McLaren who wrote The Plain of Dead Cities, a Syrian Tale. These McLaren clips are from his lecture at an independent bookstore. (They wouldn't buy to sell my books, so I don't want to help them.) His insights into the land of Syria are great, as well he knows the area and is my friend. He has a doctorate in anthropology and archeology and dug around over there.
The latest book Poor Buzz & Stories from Warnings for my Daughter, is a jazz composition of a book. It also qualifies as the obligatory book from a political aspirant. Poor Buzz will give the reader a good idea of where I am coming from. It is not a normal political offering. The point is that I know what I am talking about.
Far as The Revolutionary is concerned I continue to rewrite it for paperback, and am a hairs breath from withdrawing the ebook. I became a better writer over time. However as the Revolutionary stands, it is good, I can just make it better.
It was the producing and narrating of the audio book, which I am happy with, that caused me to want to rewrite it. Any feedback from readers will be taken into some consideration. One of my friends said it had "Structural" problems. I am aware everybody says that these days about their friends books. At the time I first wrote it I didn't care but to tell a story. -Anarchy leads to isolation and despair, is what my book taught me.
The latest production done via Createspace.com has been "Beatniks & Spiders" by Outdoor Cats. In this work I aim to defeat Hitler, J. Edgar Hoover, and Meyer Lansky. Following the test methods of the Rolling Stones I listened to the proof on a Magnavox CD player as might be common to a teenagers room. It was also tested in my wife's car. It sounded fine in all those tests, but on my TEAC it had a high level of "hiss" to it, which has sorely disturbed me. In that case it may as it is now be only "Historical". Notes added June 23, 2022 I addressed structural problems with The Revolutionary producing the Paperback version, also available in hardback The Red Dot, A manuscript for beta readers. I am very proud of what I have done. If you buy the paperback version I make a quarter. It is $5.60 because you are a beta reader. I make more from the hardback. It is all my work as also a graphic artist since work extended into the cover.
