Samantha K. Riggi grew up in the suburbs of Chicago. She attended The University of Iowa and received a Bachelor's Degree in English. After working a few years as a copy-writer, she got a Master's Degree in Elementary Education. She has been teaching ever since. She has taught children from PreK-5, and has also taught Gifted Children. She is currently an Instructional Coach in a large K-8 district. Samantha has a passion for animals, the environment and writing. Her favorite days include family walks, family movie nights, reading in the morning with coffee and meeting up with friends in the neighborhood. She lives in the suburbs of Chicago with her husband, children and dog.
