I grew up in society being a people pleaser, lacked self love, relied on others around me to love me, buried my emotions deep inside me, not being able to speak up for myself and I had lost myself meeting society standards. The Universe led me to catalyst life events that lead me to the path of discovering myself; which has been a beautiful life journey. After years of being domesticated by society it felt like I was unpeeling the different layers of an onion. The journey was a pretty lonely one - filled with tears, joys and tons of ‘ah-huh’ moments and I was able to connect with a beautiful amazing soul tribe. The process takes time to unpack all those years of conditioning and not being true to my higher self, living in fear and hiding behind guilt/shame excuses. This personal experience led me to the idea of being able to help our future generation - through stories and a framework for parents to help their kids be able to express their emotions freely, and for the kids to feel heard and acknowledge that any emotions are valid.
