Steve is committed to helping people and organizations achieve their aspirations. He holds a Ph.D. in Human Learning and Organizational Behavior. He has been an organizational adviser and strategy consultant for over 25 years, working with multinational corporations, local companies, educational institutions, and not-for-profits to elevate their success and formulate strategies employing a pragmatic and future-oriented approach. In addition, Steve has extensive experience as an instructional designer and learning innovator designing training programs for businesses and not-for-profits. His experiential and discovery learning programs have received international recognition for innovation and effectiveness. Steve was the lead designer for the highly engaging simulation supporting Stephen M.R. Covey’s bestseller, The Speed of Trust. Another of Steve’s training programs won the Henkel Award for Global HR Excellence. He also received the William C. Byham Award for Innovation and Excellence in Training Technology. Steve is naturally curious about a wide range of topics, especially historical mysteries and conventional thinking. He likes to look at matters from new angles and dig into the logic behind common assumptions. His historical novel, Shakespeare's Conspirator, about the possibility that Amelia Bassano Lanier wrote many of the most famous plays attributed to Shakespeare, reflects this interest. Steve is also active in his community, has served on numerous nonprofit boards and committees, and mentors students from low wealth communities.
