Tarren Bragdon is the CEO at the Foundation for Government Accountability, which he founded in 2011 to advance policy solutions that open up the American Dream to millions and advance free market principles. He started FGA with just 50K in seed money. In 2023, FGA and the companion c4 raised 18 million dollars in donations from individuals and foundations. Prior to founding FGA, Tarren served as the CEO at the Maine Heritage Policy Center. He also served in the Maine House of Representatives and remains the youngest person elected to the Maine Legislature, serving from 1996 to 2000. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Maine and a Master of Science in Business from Husson University. A nationally recognized policy expert, Tarren has testified before Congress, various state legislative committees, and numerous national and international conferences. His work has been featured in The Wall Street Journal, the New York Post, the Boston Globe, and The New York Times. Tarren has also appeared on NPR, Fox News, and several talk radio programs. Tarren is an entrepreneur at heart, having founded numerous nonprofit and for-profit companies, and he greatly values faith, family, freedom, and good policy. He enjoys traveling and lives with his wife and four kids (all teenagers now!) in Southwest Florida.
