Taylor Brorby is the author of Boys and Oil: Growing Up Gay in a Fractured Land, Crude: Poems, Coming Alive: Action and Civil Disobedience, and co-editor of Fracture: Essays, Poems, and Stories on Fracking in America. His work has appeared in the New York Times, Literary Hub, Orion Magazine, and The Huffington Post. Taylor's received fellowships from the MacDowell Colony, the National Book Critics Circle, and the Stone Barns Center for Food and Agriculture. He's been interviewed about his work on National Public Radio, MSNBC, and speaks around the country on issues related to climate change, disability, queerness, and extractive economies. He's a contributing editor at North American Review.
