Thomas Laschyk (*1992 Augsburg) is a blogger and activist against disinformation. He completed his Master's degree in International Literatures at the University of Augsburg in 2018. He wrote his master's thesis on "Story telling in social media fake news". In 2019, he started his own blog "Volksverpetzer", which he had previously run as a hobby. His team now consists of 10 employees. He won the "Blogger of the Year 2019", the Augsburg Media Prize 2020 and the "Facts Heroes Award 2022".
