I am curious about people, life, and love. I was bullied in public school and have suffered from poor self-esteem in the past. As I have gotten older I have become more comfortable with my uniqueness and have learned to believe the truth that all people have a story worth telling. I am a university graduate with a B.Sc. degree from the University of Manitoba. I am a proud Canadian, a loving daughter, a reluctant cat owner (I love them but not their shedding), a good neighbour, and someone who has been bitten by the travel bug. I started my first book in 2015 after reading "The One Minute Millionaire". The author's inspired me to share my knowledge and opinion with the world. I have chosen to write non-fiction books because I like searching for the humour in the truth and sharing it with others. My first book was a homage to the unsung hero whose story may not have been told. I found that I could relate to them because I have felt underappreciated in the past. My more recent books are based on the personal experiences of myself and those I know. Some of the stories prove that truth is stranger than fiction and I enjoyed the experience of recording these stories for posterity. I believe that you can never love too many people, give or receive too many hugs, laugh too many times, have too many breathtaking moments, and that you should never stop learning.
