Tony Flower was born in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, where he still lives today (never escaped!). The creation of his first novel, ‘That Bloody Book’, filled the void left by redundancy after a long career in the print industry. It was published in 2012, the realisation of a long-held ambition, and has received a number of favourable reviews on Amazon. Tony's second novel ‘The Girl Downstairs’ was published in 2014 to more acclaim. A strange and compelling tale in an unorthodox style. His third novel ‘The Resurrection of Skinny Ted and the Brothel Creepers’ was unleashed in 2018. Musical musings aplenty and an abundance of humour and pathos. A short children’s story (it’s not just for short children), ‘Why‘, is available as a free download from Tony's website www.tonyflower.co.uk Tony has worked with Maybe Magazine, a lifestyle publication based in Buckinghamshire, assisting with journalism, media courses, proof reading and editing. He currently work for the charity, Talkback, in a Communications role, as well as helping to provide training and support to people with a learning disability and/or autism, enabling them to speak up, to make choices and have more control over their own lives.
