このところ各所から本が届いているが、その中でも、「この本に関しては、感想というよりも、この本によって考えさせられた禅に関するさまざまな問題について、私自身の中を整理しておかなければ…」という思いにさせられた本は、人文書院から刊行された『東京ブギウギと鈴木大拙』である。著者は山田奨治国際日本文化研究センター教授。 世に出版される数多くの本の中には「このジャンルでは、この人だな」と思わせられる本があるが、本書はまさにそれにあたる。この山田教授は、かつて書かれた『禅という名の日本丸』の中で、オイゲン・ヘリゲル著『弓と禅』の中で最も要となっている部分について大きな疑問をあぶり出されていたからである。それは、オイゲン・ヘリゲル東北帝国大学講師の弓の師である大射道教創始者の阿波研造が、闇の中で微かな蚊取り線香の光だけを頼りにして、的の中心に矢を射当て、さらにもう一筋の矢も、的の中心に射当てた矢の矢筈を割って、二本の矢が重なって的に刺さっていたという話についての神話的状況描写についてである。（本文より) 甲野善紀の「風の先､風の跡～ある武術研究者の日々の気づき」はこちらから→http://yakan-hiko.com/kono.html
