Happy to have pruchased this book

I had to apply for my own job in the company I work for and they also added another job in the profile that was done by my work colleague. This book was very helpful and also made me laugh at the tricks I could employ during the interview. The one piece of advice that I got and used was worth every penny I spent on the book is the question ?Tell me something about yourself that I don?t see in your CV?. The trick about asking a question at the end of the introduction worked a treat and gave me time to take that first drink of water while taking a deep breath and getting a ready for the next question. I changed some of the wording to suit my situation but I could see from the outset that they were impressed with my opening and set the tone for the rest of the interview.

I got the job!

Any additional comments?

What can I say, I downloaded this, followed the steps, adapted the answers and reactions then a day later landed myself the job with a 30% pay rise from my old one. It was very helpful indeed and I couldn't recommend it enough.

Too American!

I am sure there are probably lots of useful tips in this book, but I can't make my way beyond the broad American accent, the cliches and the disingenuous language. Not for me!
