About this listen
Aiden Stone is a six-foot-two former Marine with a permanent scowl, dark hair, and dreamy blue eyes.
He’s the oldest of the Stone brothers, and his “by the book” family has battled mine for control of our small town for generations.
The last thing I should do is sleep with him. Or nearly run him down with my truck. Especially since he's sort-of my new boss.
It doesn’t help that my grandmother (the mayor) is a former magician, my mom is a psychic (sort of), and my dad died in a failed escape-artist attempt (which my mother is convinced was a murder).
Trust me, I know crazy, but I’m just plain ole Britt Bailey, Shania Twain-loving, non-magical forensic photographer. Yes, I take pictures of dead things, but I don’t see them in my bedroom at night.
I only want to see one thing in my bedroom at night, and when I’m called home to help Sheriff Stone on an investigation, he actually stops frowning for a minute, and my teenage fantasies get very real.
It’s a terrible idea. We work together, he’s seven years older than me, he’s a single dad, he hates all things magic, but a little taste, and we can’t say no.
Until the town crime wave turns personal, putting everything on the line, and we’ll need more than a magic bullet to get our happily ever after.
A Little Taste is a small-town grumpy single-dad romance with a touch of light suspense and lots of tasty spice. No cheating. No cliff-hanger.

Aiden & Britt!
Small town, single dad, grumpy sheriff. Well that has my attention right from the start. Add in a quirky, smart, intuitive woman who can do her job like no other and I am there! This is a fantastic story, featuring Aiden Stone. He is jaded with women and his purpose is to keep his town safe and raise his son. But when the mayor pulls her granddaughter in to help with a serial killing, all bets are off!Britt Bailey had no intention of ever returning home. She can't deal with her magical mother who is obsessed with her father's death. She doesn't believe in all the hoopla, and she knows coming home is a bad idea. Until she teams up with Aiden. And our story begins. Chemistry, a fantastic dog, a curious child, quirky family members and an unsolved crime keeps this story flowing. It's low angst, high romance and just enough suspense to keep me excited. I love Tia Louise's style of writing and will always come back for more!
Troy Duran and Samantha Brentmoor narrate this amazing story, bringing it to life. Duran is perfect as Aiden. He lends his personality to the man, creating a charisma that is impossible to stay away from, and a hesitancy that is strong around his heart. Brentmoor is fantastic as Britt. Strong, smart and loyal, she can't keep her heart from being involved, both with Aiden and her mom. It's a fantastic performance and perfect casting.

Yummy small town romance
I loved listening to this sweet, small town romance on audiobook.
Forensic photographer Britt Bailey clashes with sheriff Aiden Stone, her former high school crush and current hot, single dad as they collaborate to solve a tricky case that turns very personal.
“I won’t sleep tonight if I don’t taste your lips.”
“You won’t?” Her fingers trace the fabric of my shirt, and I imagine her pulling it higher, her mouth on my body.
“No.” It’s a hoarse whisper.”
This story had a little banter, a little suspense and a whole lot of Swoon!!
