Weak storyline
I do appreciate Linwood Barclay novels but this was not one of the best. When you guess what is going on, which is not difficult, it gets to be quite tedious. However, I held on and made it to the end and the convoluted finale.

Guessable but good
Guessed most of this one but that didn’t stop it from being a great read!!
Won’t be listening to this narrator again though, at least not if there are any female characters. He managed to make them all sound weak and whiny, which came across quite sexist and ignorant.

Glued together
Enjoyed the start but it seemed to have about three different writers involved and although this created unexpected twists there was a kind of lack of a pay off. Depressing cos I enjoy this writer normally.

Full of suspense
This was my first time to listen to a Linwood Barclay book on audible and it sure won’t be my last . I loved it . The narrator was excellent and the story was brilliant with lots of suspense and a few red herrings thrown in .
