Summary

The magical new novel from the number 1 bestselling author of PS, I Love You and Where Rainbows End.

Sandy Shortt has been obsessed about where missing things - and people - end up ever since the disappearance of a childhood friend twenty years ago. It has even motivated her to become a private investigator, attempting to track down missing loved ones and giving devastated families hope.

So when she finds herself one of the missing people, stuck in a strange place with people who vanished into thin air years ago, she wonders if she has found the answer to one of life's greatest mysteries. But if she has, will she be able to return to life as she knows it? If Jack Ruttle, her latest client and mystified by her own disappearance, has anything to do with it she will...

Wonderful book

I have been captivated by this story for a number of years now, strangely it is the only book I have lost not once, but twice I’m hoping that that those in Here have found them and learned a little more about how they arrived at their new home and for some maybe, how to leave and return to real life.

Frustrating book that I couldn’t put down

There was a lot of rambling I. The book yet I still couldn’t stop reading it. I also wanted to know where things went and where everyone was

Perfect!

Cecelia Ahern never fails to get you completely sucked in to a new world. To escape reality and gain comfort from a great story. The end always leaving you feeling satisfied but wanting more!
My favourite author! I have yet to read one of her books and not love it!

Appreciated more in my late teens/early twenties

Really good book and I did enjoy it. I love cecilia ahern. However, I'm reading it as a 30 year old therapist, so struggled to connect with the romance in this one. Couldn't help but get heeby jeebies. However, when I first read this in my late teens/early 20s I remember being captivated. Goes to show how subjective reviews are. I just think her stories are beautiful and bring a bit of something unique and different as opposed to just romance.

Easy listen

Story is ok. You could pretty much guess the plot as you listened. No surprises or twists. Bit of fantasy.

Slow but Intriguing

Another book club pick, this was a slow burn but an enjoyable read. There are some relationships within the book I find problematic, and many questions I still hold after finishing the narrative, but on the whole this book held my attention and intrigue though its premise and interesting main characters. A book with a fairly satisfying ending! Would recommend to others.

Reread/ listen because it’s always good :)

Read this book a few years ago and I never stop thinking about it. Listening to it again was like reliving a past memory. Such a fab story beautifully read.
