Summary
Snow. Survival.
Two years ago, the end began.
In 2036, a rapidly destabilizing climate culminated in a worldwide snowstorm that froze the entire planet. Billions are now dead due to starvation, disease, civil unrest, and the plummeting temperatures. What remains of humanity now live in small settlements or isolated makeshift villages, carving out miserable lives in this grim new reality.
Some, like Chris Weston, choose to travel among the vast winter wastelands between the bastions of civilization. In the aftermath of the great collapse, Chris finds himself strangely suited for this new world. Strong, motivated, patient, and already possessing a fair amount of knowledge on wilderness survival, he’s lucky enough to feed the strong urge of wanderlust that grips him despite the new, icebound Earth.
During one such journey through the hinterlands, Chris suddenly finds himself in a bad situation. Injured, robbed of everything but the clothes on his back, and caught in the middle of a worsening blizzard, it's going to take a lot to get out of this one alive.

A new story
This is the first book of this type that I read. I really enjoyed the story. The characters were so human that they seemed real. The narrators did a wonderful job of bringing the characters to life. The only thing that I disliked was now I have to wait for the next book.

it’s good
it’s good but one bad thing is that there is too much internal monologue. Sometimes the mc over explaining things that doesn’t need explaining.

Survival and lust
I have received this free copy for an honest review. This is an awesome stry of survival and lust. Our mc is a good man that looks like a bad man but just wants to help, and is strangely well suited for this new post apocalyptic winter world. So he does, he helps others, women specially, who are more than eager to thank him for it. The narration is great, very intense and involving but also clear and easy to understand. 100% recommendes if you like the type.

Fantastic explicit mens fantasy
At my request I received a copy of this audiobook in order to give a fair and unbiased review.
Genre: Post apocalyptic survival erotic harem
Power dynamics in harem: Lustful, but the members are learning to trust each other.
Explicit/adult material: Very. Consensual. Unprotected. Threesomes and (consensual) power dynamics.
Summary:
Global warming has progressively worse, to the point where the world is now covered in ice and all governmental structure has collapsed.
Chris wakes up after crashing his car, and find that he has been robbed of everything he owns. He finds a young woman and they team up, for him to get his stuff back and for her to be protected on her way to a nearby safe town.
But the gang that took Chris' stuff are not easily taken down, and wolves and another local gang also wants a piece of meat.
Narrators
Voice diversity:
Pacing and intonation: Passionate and expertly delivered from both .
Sex scenes: Extremely well done.
Gabriel Michael and Katana Jones is a narration all star team and they take it to the next level in this book!
Overall: 5 / 5 stars.
The book’s strengths.
- The writing. I did not expect to get hit in the feels or thinking deep thoughts from a book like this, but this time i did.
- The cruelty and pressure of living in a post-apocalyptic world comes through, and so does the sense of tribal belonging that can be found.
- There is a lot of explicit sections and they don't feel forced. It could well be the life of a small group of high libido people in such circumstances
- The narration
The book’s weaknesses.
- Not really a weakness, this book is excellent at what it does. But I like romance of in my book, this is more a book of mutual respect and shared pleasures. Maybe it will grow into romance in future books. In which case I love the slow burn on the feelings front.

wasted opportunity
Interesting setting wasted by lack of any meaningful story. Characters are bleak and uninteresting. Sex scenes are nice but too long.
