Summary
Alice-Miranda Highton-Smith-Kennigton-Jones can't wait to start boarding school. When she arrives at Winchesterfield-Downsfordvale Academy for Proper Young Ladies, the adventure begins...only not quite as Alice-Miranda expects.
The minute she sets foot on the school's manicured grounds, she senses that something is wrong: Miss Grimm, the headmistress, is nowhere to be seen; the gardens have no flowers; and a mysterious stranger seems to be hiding out on the premises.
But that's not all. Some girls are mean and spoiled, like Alethea Goldsworthy. Can Alice-Miranda defeat Alethea in one of three difficult tests she must pass to remain at school? Will she discover Winchesterfield-Downsfordvale's big secret and make things right? Well, if anyone can, it's Alice-Miranda!

Even for adults....
Even as an adult, I enjoy children's fiction from time to time. Alice-Miranda made me smile despite being sick in bed for 2 days. Her eternal optimism is infectious!
It was a cute story and the narration was tops. I'll be sure to read the next one too :)

OH MY GOODNESS
This was a a highly amazing book that I would receive mend to anyone.
I liked that the adventures someone did to prove she was worthy of a school and that Alice Miranda never thought badly of anyone.
I would recommend this to anyone who is a fan of Enid Blyton’s Malory towers, st. Clare’s, and naughtiest girl series.
I chose a five star rating because it had adventure, mystery, sadness, romance and generally fun. These are things I always look for in books.
