Stategies for successful anger management
If you could sum up Angry All the Time in three words, what would they be?
Great Anger Management
What did you like best about this story?
Four things:
1. I can choose whether or not I accept an "invitation to anger" from others. The answer these days is, No Thanks.
2. Resentment is no good for anyone
3. It can be fun to take a look at your own anger whether passive or outspoken, and come up with ways to control it
4. The narrator did a great job of bringing the book to life, which is actually written with comical prose
Have you listened to any of Bob Dio’s other performances? How does this one compare?
No
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Not really, mainly the part about recognising that I don't have to accept invitations to anger anymore.
Any additional comments?
Personal Takeaways:
Don't have to accept invitations to anger from others or events

This is a real shame...
I returned this title because it has the worst narration I have ever heard. At first I though it was some sort of text-to-speech programme, but after I while I came to think it's just really poorly performed. I'm just baffled that it made it to release without someone catching it. It's so artificial and robotic that I find it hard to take it seriously. The actual writing seems great, and I really tried to get over the voice to listen to what was being said, but I don't really see the point of learning to control my anger with a tool that frustrates me while I use it... and yes, I do see the irony there!
I will contact the publishers because it's such a shame that such a good resource is essentially ruined for me because of a poor production decision. I got the audio because I couldn't get hold of a print copy, hopefully it will turn up soon because I really want to read it!
I would say if you think you can get over the voice, definitely try this title. Sadly, I couldn't..
