Summary

Spoiler alert: This isn't some sad exploration of my tragic past. I have a list of the people who bought and sold me. And they aren't getting a redemption arc.

I was luckier than most. I was rescued by a team of guys who search out people like me, and now I get to work with them. But I'm not the hero of this story. I don't forgive. I don't forget. And I'm about to cut a bloody swath across this part of the globe in retaliation for what they did to me.

My only problem? I'm in love with one of my rescuers, and he still thinks I'm a helpless kid, even though I've been killing evil men for months. When he offers to help with my little revenge spree, I know it's only because he worries about my safety.

If he's going to keep looking at me like that, though, he might be the one in danger.

Anti-Hero is for the wild hearts out there who, despite being all love and light, still need their revenge.

Absolutely fantastic

All my reviews from this series, (heck, from this AUTHOR) are basically I LOVE THIS BOOK! Kelly rocks, the end. This was one of the more intense, grittier, hard-hitting series from Kelly Fox, but WOW was it a great one, and I'm rather sad to see it end, but also relieved & happy for how it all played out - and leads into new adventures and stories!
Ant and Erik = they've had one helluva journey, for sure! I wanted to hug them both, and wanted to throttle Erik several times throughout the series, but they finally got their stuff figured out, individually and together. Such chemistry, intensity, insane friends, harrowing adventures and hard truths faced & overcome. Absolutely amazing HEA all-around humor, LOADS of heart, compassion, self-analysis and rebuilding. Love Ant, Love Erik, Love this huge, extended, insane family. Great job!
Declan Winters - *chef's kiss!* Stellar performance, fantastic acents, beautiful character personification - just GREAT! Again, a broken record with this narrator's audiobooks, but I'm not complaining. He started out good and has only gotten better with time. Kelly Fox & Declan Winters, another excellent pairing!

Delightful

Fox did a wonderful job writing Ant and Erik’s story and I enjoyed reading it immensely. But the audio was made even richer by Winters’ narration. His talent at voice acting (particularly accents) is immense. Each of the many, many characters (thanks to delightful cross-overs with Fox’s other series’) has their own unique speech patterns and were readily identifiable.

As I said when I first reviewed the (print) book, the tension between Erik and Ant is palpable. Crackling. Sizzling. I said it before and I’ll say it again — delicious.

One thing that I seemed to notice more listening to the story than I did while reading the book is the number of references to their considerable size difference. For some reason, they just really stood out while listening to the audio.

Fox’s natural gifts with character development and found family lend themselves well to this highly enjoyable novel.

Best for last

Story: Best for last! I loved EVERYTHING about these two. Ant is one of Kelly Fox's best creations character - wise and it was pure pleasure to read about his chemistry and feelings for Erik. They both grow as people throughout the series and in this book especially.
Great writing!
Narration: Great voice skills and portrayal of emotions. All came together with the story.
