Mind Blown

Cass has fully embraced darkness devastating everybody around him. It seems a lot of people are changing from dark to light or vice versa. Everybody is struggling to find a way to stand together and prepare for war. Cass is too angry to even try to cooperate. His mate chose another over him and because of it he embraces darkness more and more each day. Saying that the contents of this book didn't shock me would be a complete lie. I was taken for multiple rides. I won't get into specifics because I feel I already spoiled too much of this book as it is. I just want to make it a point to say that I couldn't predict anything that happened in this book. Surely this can't be the final book. Surely there are more. This book has me baffled! I can't think of anything I didn't like about the story. The narrators did a terrific job. I am amazed that they did an even better performance on this book than they did the first one. It does seem like a lot more action and story happen in this book though. I guess my only complaint is that it didn't last long enough for me. I fully recommend this book. I strongly encourage reading the first book though. It would help clarify a lot of references that happen in t his book. Be prepared to hit a lot of twists and turns and be shocked through the journey. I never thought I'd enjoy twists as much as I did with this book! Can't wait to read more!

That's one messed up ending...

Narrators again, did a great job with this book.
The story unfolds and picks up where Part 1 ended. There's a ton more surprises and twists.
The end is messed up. I don't know what to believe now.

Ascension Volume One, Part Two

After entering the other realm of, both Luna and Parker/Cassien have come into their own powers. Now Luna is the Queen of the light court and Cass is a prince of the dark court. Luna cannot understand why Parker has turned so completely to the dark, but her new husband is hiding the secret behind the transformation. Meanwhile, Carter/Cadris and Anya, Luna's sister, are going through much the same situation as Luna and Cass did when they met. Will either couple be able to bridge the gap between the courts, or will Gio be the winner of the war after all?

If you're looking for a dark fantasy where secrets breed more secrets and neither side seem able to to admit to the truth, this is the book for you. Beware, though, for the ending may not be an ending.

What a twist for the ending!!

What a crazy twist at the end! I hope there will be more to this series since the ending definitely leaves you wanting more!

As with the first book I'm not a huge fan of the narration style. I got used to it and I don't feel that it really interferes with the story.

Fantastic continuation

the story continues at a faster pace, gripping you in the deceitful dalliances and battle between light and dark.
Narration as fantastic as book 1 and the Story just gets better and better, written beautifully by Yolander Hatcher. But oh what and ending!!! Seriously i was actually holding my breath throughout this book! And I ended it with a big O stuck my stupid face!

OMG WOW I don't want this series to stop!

Obviously this is part 2 so you need to listen to part 1 first for this to make any sense! I am not a big fantasy or paranormal fan but this series had me from the first 15 mins! The romance is wonderful even if in this part of the story there was considerably less of it as this part was more about the journey and the discoveries. The characters that Yolanda manages to write are incredible, it's like I can see them in my mind whilst listening and they come to life in a film. Yolanda has a way of writing that draws you in and keeps you hooked, this was fast and exciting and thrilling and heartbreaking, she writes a story world that you can actually feel apart of. The narration was particularly good in this part as we had different POVs throughout. I need the next one in this series quickly please, I really need Cassien to come back from the darkness!!!

What an amazing storyline, what an intense plot, this story keeps you at the edge of your seat, begging for the next words, the ending has me reeling, mouth agape. Bring on the next volume please.
If you haven’t started this series yet, love Wild, crazy rides into different realms and worlds than this one is for you.
The narration is amazing also.

OH MY GOD... I AM SPEECHLESS!!!

It’s moved up to my favorite. WOW! I don’t even know how to describe how much I loved these books! Everything is so unexpected, exciting, shocking, and kept me 100% on the edge of my seat the entire time!!! I was not expecting things to go the way they did and I love that. I can’t wait for the next book! So freaking good. Yolanda Hatcher is a writing queen and Jason Carpenter is my new favorite narrator. His voice and performance made this book so much more ... everything!!! Highly recommend!

I’m still reeling from this storyline! It’s so intense. I’m just sitting here with my mouth open looking for the words, lol. Fantastic, brilliant and amazing are a few. Written very well and the narration is great.

Superb!!!

This is such an amazing series!! I get so wrapped up in the story that everything else disappear!!
This is a thrilling, compelling story written so brilliantly that you believe every word and it gets you so emotionally entangled that you dont want to stop reading!!
This one ends on a huge cliff hanger!!
Highly recommended.
