About this listen
Holt, a diplomat, and Noah Crane, Israeli master-sniper, plan to walk by night into the dangerous Beqa'a Valley, where capture by the Syrian Army results in torture and death.
It is to find one man: the subject of an act of vengeance by the British, to display their strength in the face of terrorism. But when Holt and Crane are far into the Beqa'a, unrecoverable, their cover is blown....

Persevered
I have read everything he has written when published and have noticed the change over the decades. This story is enjoyable buy the book overall is a polemic. If you can tolerate this I recommend it. Narration is good.

Unrelenting tension
One of Seymour's best.
A word about the narration. Would have been excellent, if listening in a silent room. But I like to listen in the car, and I couldn't hear it a lot of the time. Frequently descends to a whisper.

A good vehicle for Colin Mace if not too exciting
Colin Mace is such an easy listen. Not too exciting a story but to keep Colin in my ears it went fine and far quicker than I imagined.
I started audible with Coin Mace and still my first choice in my wishlist
