A brilliant consolidation of the importance of listening, communicating and learning, not only about others but yourself.
As someone with ADHD, I find listening to audiobooks the most effective way to take in the content. This audiobook is phenomenally well structured for someone who is driven to distractions, like me (and maybe you), not only because it breaks down the lessons being taught in an intelligent manner, but most importantly because it is written in a way where you don’t know what to expect next. You stop and reflect on whether you are in awe about Evy Poumpouras and her experiences, or you simply imagine how great it would be to go for a coffee with her as a friend, or you simply try to “work her (narrative) out”, only to find that Evy, like in many of her evidence based examples, is two steps ahead of you and you can’t predict what’s next. 10 out of 10 for writer/narrator and reader engagement.
P.S.: [for Evy - if it ever gets read] I would like to feedback to you that I believe you did the right choice by breaking down each main lesson, through analepse and prolepse, with excerpts of the interview with your husband. It really helped cement everything through and through, as well as bringing relatability.

Life changing!
What an incredible book! Evy, you are truly amazing and have not only inspired me, but provided me with a wealth of knowledge and skills to work on to better myself, my safety and my mind. Highly recommend! I’m going to listen to it again!

A Must read.
Loved it!
A must read if you want to learn to thrive not just survive in this world and learn to be a better human. Good examples of her life events mentioned in the book to support the chapters, although not overally detailed.
Evy's narration of her own book brings such warmth and depth to her life stories.
I'm listening to it all again.

Great book!
This book was amazing. The book is about a mindset shift imo. Its not just about bulletpoints and strategies to use in your daily interactions.
Evy Pompouras is such an empathetic, kind, immensely resilient, strong human being. I felt empowered listening to her theories. 100% recommend this book.

Thought provoking and enjoyable
The author/narrator is easy to listen to and very engaging. This is about finding your inner strengths and striving to be the best person you can be, not in a competitive way, but in a human way. Loved it
