About this listen
Be careful what you wish for . . .
Lt. Grayson Masters is focused on graduating from the Apache helicopter course, and the last thing he needs is his gorgeous new roommate Samantha Fitzgerald distracting him. While her smart mouth and free spirit are irresistibly irritating, he can't deny their off-the-charts chemistry, no matter how hard he tries.
Having just been expelled from college, Sam has no business digging for Grayson's secrets while she's hiding her own, but that doesn't stop her from trying to tear down his walls. Each barrier she busts through drops one of her own, though, and she's not prepared for the truth: another woman laid claim to Grayson's heart long ago.
Falling in love is something neither Grayson nor Sam can afford, and when that line is crossed and secrets are exposed, they'll learn that sometimes it's the answered prayers that will put you through hell.
Contains mature themes.

Excellent
I was a bit skeptical about reading this book after I read a few of the reviews. But I'm so pleased I did read it. Even though I'm an older reader it was a truly amazing story. I loved the banter between all the couples. Sam was a little frustrating at times, but I loved Grayson. If I could give it another star I would. On to the next chapter....

Great book poor narrator.
I loved the story but I just couldn’t wait to finish it after listening to female narrator… it was very hard to focus. I could hear her swallowing and her narrating other male characters sounded just creepy. I much preferred listening to Teddy Hamilton in this book and he has my 5 stars.

Great story line
Love Rebecca Yarros audio books, they grip you from the very beginning and keep you hooked until the very last words. Absolutely loved Grayson and Sam’s story, it had so many twists and turns with a great ending. My only criticism of this audio book was the narrator. Her masculine voices were downright weird and she had a really irritating habit of swallowing loudly. Good job the story line was so good!

Potential sound issue
I found the sound of the female lead swallowing really distracting me from the story. I don’t know if that’s an editing issue, I’ve never had that problem before. I personally felt the female leads “male voice” bordered on the side of creepy.
I enjoyed the book

I’m obsessed with Grayson and Sam!
This story totally hooked me in, I’ve listened twice!
I have some issues with the performance and audio quality, but I’m still obsessed with them.

Good story bad performance
The story is great perfect balance of angest and joy but the female performer's presentation was hard to get through. she was constantly loudly swallowing and kicking her lips.
