Wow! A story to end 2021!
This is such a romantic book. it has all the feels and is without doubt A MUST READ!
I don't generally like WW2 books but this one had such love, poignancy and everything wrapped up so beautifully.
It had all the feels, the people you want to hate, succeed and ultimately a book with an excellent story.
if you are looking for a love story, then look no further! Just terrific and a great way to see out 2021!

Epic love story v’s problematic narration
The story was really enjoyable, and carried me through, however the narration left a lot to be desired, particularly the male narration of Scarlet & Jamesons storyline…the English accents could have done with a bit of work!

Couldn’t stop listening
Loved this audio book! It is definitely up in my top 5, highly recommend to everyone who’ll listen to me.
The story kept me gripped, from Georgia and how her happy ending would pan out to that of her lovely gran’s.
If you’re looking for the romance novel of the decade, then you have it right here.
I cried, I beamed with happiness and I was furious with anger and frustration. Rebecca Yarros gave me it all in this book.

Beautifully written characters and a wonderful story.
I loved the overall story and especially the twist at near the end. The Characters where so real
and fully formed. I was a little put off by the female readers English accent, but I got used to it after a while. Would definitely recommend.

An epically memorable and moving novel.
Congratulations on a tremendous and poignant story. With so much courage, sadness, determination, hope and compassion, The overriding themes being love, longing and the devastation that war brings to everyone. In order not to spoil the plot for others l won’t give too much away.
I enjoyed the flipping to and throw between past and present, which sometimes drives me crazy! Definitely not so with this wonderful story. 👏
