About this listen
If you saw his face, you’d have a death wish, too.
My life sucks. More accurately, I suck- blood.
I woke up on a cold slab in a morgue two weeks ago, with no memories and a new drinking habit that seriously cramps my ability to make friends.
Now, I’m hunting for answers in Sin City about my past and who I was, but someone else is hunting me.
When Death himself comes to collect me, I find myself facing the most magnificent, terrifying being imaginable. Who knew the Grim Reaper wore a tailored suit and ran the most exclusive hotel on the Vegas strip?
He wants to hold me prisoner? Fine, I will rattle the cage and make his life a living hell until I get my freedom.
And I absolutely cannot, under any circumstances, let him know his hand is wrapped around my soul.
Bitten by Death is book one of three in a slow burn, action-packed, steamy romance featuring a cheeky, tough heroine and a dark hero.
Start listening now if you like irreverent, chain-yanking vampires and a hot-as-hell version of Death!

Don't Judge A Book By Its Cover
Rating: 5 of 5
Story: I seriously loved this story right from the very beginning. I'm going to be honest, I almost passed on it due to the cover. I didn't think it would be a book I'd enjoy very much. I'm happy to say that I was very wrong. It's a very big lesson in "don't judge a book by its cover. I've learned it well. I can't wait to get my hands on the rest of the series.
Characters: One of our main characters is Vivian. She wakes up in a morgue with no memory of her life or how she died. She only knew that she woke up a vampire. Our other main character is Grimm. He has discovered that there are vampires in the world. Something that hasn't happened in a long time. They cannot exist. He decides to go and destroy the one he knows of. Vivian.
Critiques: I'm not a fan of the cover.
Narration: Great narration. I give it a full 5 stars.
Final Thoughts: I really am glad that I enjoyed this book as much as I did. I really loved both of the characters. I also loved how full of comedy the book had. There were so many quirky passages that I enjoyed very much that make it easy for me to say that I recommend this fully.

My Thoughts on Bitten by Death
This was a very entertaining mix of paranormal romance, suspense, mythology, and comedy. I liked pretty much all the “good” characters in this story. Although to be honest I thought there was good character development all the way around, even for the bad ones. But the main characters Death/Grim and Vivian had me laughing throughout the story over their banter. Vivian especially between what she thought and what she actually let come out of her mouth had me cracking up. The supporting characters like Timothy and Miranda were great too. The only thing I can say I was slightly disappointed by was the “steam” level. This book isn’t exactly what I’d consider to be steamy. I understand it’s intended to be a slow burn, but I was a bit surprised at the “relationship development” between Vivian and Grim and how far it didn’t go. The narration however was fantastic. I felt Vivienne Ferrari was so well suited for this character. She pulled off the comedic aspect perfectly. Logan McAllister was just perfect as Grim. He was gruff and growly and also hilarious. While I may have had one minor thing that left me wanting more, I ultimately found myself really enjoying this story and I wouldn’t hesitate to listen to book two when it comes out.

Bitten by Death Human blood
This book was really good you guys have to listen to it. Girl gets turned into a vampire but doesn't remember how and who did it. She's a sassy and funny person. And trys to fight her urge to drink Human blood. Since she was turned she drank the blood of rats. Now she's being hunted by other vampires and is getting the help of a God that might have to kill her at the end. But as time goes by he is falling for her. Can't wait to see what happens next. The narrator's did an amazing job too.

Loved listening to the book as much as I did reading it
I have already read this book and absolutely loved it. So to be able to listen to it was too tempting to ignore. Unlike some other books I have listened to, this actually used a man and woman doing the narration. I have tried unsuccessfully to listen to books with the male narrator doing the female voices and if I’m honest 90% of the time it hasn’t worked. I loved that they both put emotion into the book and didn’t just read it in almost monotone voices. As I already knew the plot the audiobook held no surprises but if you haven’t read it and the audiobook is your first introduction to Grim, Vivian and their will they won’t they connection let alone the fact she shouldn’t exist and holy crap wait till you find out out who he is! then I can honestly promise that you won’t be disappointed. Vivian is beyond sarcastic and takes huge enjoyment from winding Grim up, while he doesn’t know what to do with her most of the time. I spent most of the time laughing out loud. This is a slow burn story that I really enjoyed. I’m looking forward to listening to book 2.

A new take on Vampires
I wasn’t sure about listening to this but I love Logan’s narrating so I went with it. I’m so glad I did as it was so good a new take on Vamps and Gods and Vivian is so funny the way she winds Grim up is brilliant. I can’t wait for book 2 and see how they eventually get on working together .

Lots of humour
I enjoyed this storyline quite a lot. It’s written with a lot of humour and the main character has a brilliant level of sass. Fantastic performance from both Vivienne and Logan.

Paranormal Romance
Bitten By Death by Holly Roberds is a slow burn paranormal romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Logan McAllister and Vivienne Ferrari. This is the first book in the Vegas Immortals: Death and the Last Vampire series.
This is the first book of Holly's that I have read and it definitely won't be my last. I was pulled in from the very beginning and couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next. I loved the chemistry between Death and Vivian.
I can't wait for the next book in the series Kissed by Death to be released on November 11, 2021 so I can get more of their story.
Logan and Vivienne did a great job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.
I would recommend this book if you like paranormal romances or romantic suspense.
