An essential read

A perfect accompaniment to teaching off all areas of the primary history curriculum, Romans, Tudors, Victorians, world war 1 and 2. and Windrush and morden day. These stories should be told in our schools.

An excellent history

This book, though written for children, also works as an overview of Black British history from the Roman period to 2020, with insights into several named Black people and their lives. I listened to it one go through a morning and was fascinated and appalled in equal measure all the way through.
