About this listen
In an audiobook that challenges everything you thought you knew, W. Chan Kim and Renee Mauborgne assert that tomorrow's leading companies will succeed, not by battling their rivals for market share in the bloody "red ocean" of a shrinking profit pool, but by creating "blue oceans" of untapped new market spaces ripe for growth.
Based on a study of 150 strategic moves, spanning more than 100 years and 30 industries, they provide a systematic approach that every company can use to render rivals obsolete and unleash new demand:

Some useful tips but a bit tedious
This book seems to address bigger corporations although some ideas can be scaled to small businesses

I never want to hear another word about Cirque Du Soilel
I bought this on Pat’s recommendation. I no longer trust Pat. If you want to know how many sentence variations you can make from ‘Cirque Du Soilel combined ideas from circus and theatre” this book is for you. If you want to have the obvious bashed into your skull with a hammer until you start chewing your own kindle, this book is for you. I don’t normally review any of the thousands of things I buy on amazon, but for the safety of myself and those around me I had to let this one loose.

Crazy awesome
I’m a senior in Time Inc. Magazine publishing , now part of Meredith - this industry could use this book to create a new blue ocean as magazine industry in in the red ocean which is shrinking ...
I’m also an entrepreneur with a social enterprise venture My SOS Family , & we are creating a blue ocean , so works for us too......
Finally I consult for events & exhibition companies , and I can see a blue ocean possibilities ....
Thank u for this book - it’s awesome , and I’ve read hundreds (good to great , Jack Welsh , Richard Branson etc etc ...) this book both complements and builds on those carving out a blue ocean in book categories - Motivational . Technical , a user Strategy Manual , Case studies analysis ....

A Must Read For The Different
Enjoyed the content and probably needs a couple listens before it all sinks in. Good to get the material mentioned as some of it is in the book.

Interesting book but is it a complete book ?
It was interesting, but I thought that the book is meant to have 9 chapters. This audiobook only has 6.
