Heart renching but brilliant book

Literally gobsmacked at your story so sad so frustrating so angry every emotion felt listening to your story but ultimately so so proud of you well done. Amazing story so well told every girl needs to read this

Brutally honest
I knew I was going to love this book within minutes of listening to it. The narrator is brilliant and straight away I forgot that it’s not Melanie talking, really enjoyed listening to this book even though it’s sad and emotional. So brave of her to be so open.

Difficult to listen to at times

Fierce
A lot in this book opened old wounds for me, I wish I had been brave enough to write about it. Yes it was brutally honest, but also funny and uplifting. I'd recommend anyone to read it, and take heed to look for the warning signs of coercion,control and gaslighting in your relationship.

Emotional
I cannot believe I got through this book so quick couldn’t put it down well I mean couldn’t stop listening to the audio, wow mel B you are one amazing woman it has probably been one of my best reads ever and I read a lot it’s gripping shocking upsetting fun exciting but truthfully written xx

Surprising but really good
I had no idea of the struggled Mel has faced in her life. This was so eye opening, and really refreshing for someone in the public eye to talk so openly and honestly about her struggles. Also, the narrator was absolutely amazing - I completely forgot I wasn't listening to Mel herself. Really clever to use someone who sounds so alike. Great book, definitely worth a listen!

I laughed and I cried & I couldn't stop listening
Really loved this. The title is exactly what it says - brutally honest. Frightening what Mel has been through but so glad she has her side out there now. Incredible story.
