The characters.
I enjoyed the polar opposite of the two main female characters which I found refreshing. The twist at the end came as a surprise because I had guessed wrongly. I would read other books in this series.

My fave so far!
I love Cassie Raven so much! I listened to this book in one very static sitting as I was recovering from surgery, & it kept me entertained the whole night whilst I was being checked on every hour. I really enjoyed how both Cassie & Flyte’s characters develop even more & we saw different sides to them, both with strength & vulnerabilities. I adore this series!

A great series, engaging characters & plot.
Can’t wait for the next instalment of Cassie Raven and Flyte. Likeable characters, well plotted. Not predictable. How can a series based on a Goth mortuary technician Miss Marple who connects with the dead be so good without being remotely macabre? Love the character of Flyte too. Supporting characters of Babcia and the story of Callum add interest and are seamlessly woven into to Cassie’s story. Well done to AK Turner and the narrator Ellie Kendrick who tells the story beautifully. Keep writing and developing Cassie and Flyte. What a great cliffhanger too. Am rooting for them!

Brilliant book. It's lovely to read something different. I love Cassie the name character and how ballsey but vulnerable too.
This series of books is one of my favourites. I hope there will be more!

A gripping 'who done it?'
The narrator is great. Love the voice styles and tone. There's a strong 'will they won't they' element to the story. A lot of mystery unravelling happening. I hope this isn't the finale.
