The not so lonely Long Distance Runner

I started running in my early twenties. And despite a few gaps I am still running today and enjoying every minute of it. Every one of the glimpses into other runners lives is a joy. I loved it. I know exactly how they feel about running because I feel the same way. From the sarcastic comments from my girlfriend as I get out of bed at 5am to run 20 miles to the sense of loss when injury robs me of something that has become an integral part of my life. I share these things with so many other people. I was so glad to find that audible have 2 more Chicken Soup...running audiobooks. Can't wait to get them.

Great motivational tool

Would you consider the audio edition of Chicken Soup for the Soul: Runners - 31 Stories on Starting Out, Running Therapy and Camaraderie to be better than the print version?

Absolutely. I listened to it in the car on the way home from work and it made me want to just park the car and start walking/running.

If you made a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?

Go your own way....

Any additional comments?

A really good listen for people who are looking to increase their activity levels. The stories are personal and although they are all coming from a different place/background, there is always something that you can relate to in each one. This is the kind of audio book you could listen to again and again. Really motivates you to get up and get moving without bogging you down with techinical stuff and routines and telling you what to do.
