Christmas is fast approaching at the new Hope Farm and Bev has convinced a reluctant Molly to organise an open day to raise some much needed funds ahead of the New Year. Their nativity tableau has everything they need: anti-social sheep, alpacas munching the Baby Jesus doll and a hairdresser dressed up as Santa Claus. But on Hope Farm it's going to take more than mulled wine and Christmas lights to get everyone in the festive spirit....
Molly is looking forward to her first Christmas with Shelby and Lucas, but with father and son continuing to clash and the arrival of Lucas's new girlfriend, it becomes all too clear that their living situation cannot last. And as Shelby plans to take his career to glamorous new heights, Molly fears that a mucky life with her on the farm may no longer be enough for him.

A slow start but got better once over few chapters
too much information about farm animals and farm at beginning. made it a bit boring to start with. got past that it was better.

Next Chapter Of Hope Farm
What a lovely treat to return to hope farm. I really enjoyed the first book - Happiness for beginners. Thanks to Carole for writing such a lovely heat-warm story which is based on a actual farm. The poems within both books are great and suit Lucus down to a tea. I hope that Carole does continue to return to Hope farm so we can catch up with Molly, Lucus, Bev and all the animals.

very annoying narrator!
Book is great but narrator has, at times, an irritating babyish voice. It wasn't as noticeable in previous book, Happiness for Beginners.

Great continuation!!
Really enjoyed listening to this christmas part two of Happiness for Beginners. Could tell where it was going but great easy listen. Read so many of Carole Matthews books, go back to them again and again.

A Magical Christmas Story
Loved this book as much as Happiness for Beginners. It was a very enjoyable continuation of the story. It made me want to go to visit the farm and the wonderful characters who live and work there. I experienced many emotions whilst reading it from happiness to anger and everything in-between. I was going to keep this book for closer to Christmas but I was dying to know what happened next so I went for it. So glad I did. Can't recommend it enough. Hope there will be another installment??
